Out of the Absurdity of Life
My flyer for Filastine´s album release in Berlin got featured in the 325-pages book "Out of the Absurdity of Life" from Norient Sounds. Book release is today as part of the NORIENT MUSIKFILM FESTIVAL. Get your hands on it, a must-read about globalized music culture between Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and the US.

Logo Design Workshop
I was asked, together with 4 other artists, to give a logo design workshop for a 10th grade art class in a school in the multicultural neighborhood of Neukölln. The final results will be presented on January 10th, 2013, and the best logo is going to be the logo for the YOUNG ARTS NK art school.
The kids in my class came up with some really good ideas so that it was hard to chose one.
But this is our final result:
and here are more pics from work in class after the jump.

Shortlisted in INDIA Future of Change
I´ve been shortlisted among 25 international artists in the INDIA Future of Change poster contest. There have been "623 registrations from 266 visual art and design schools from 42 countries. A panel of graphic design practitioners and academics set up by the Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has finally selected the top 50 entries (25 International and 25 Indian entries)". Check out the INDIA Future of Change website to find out more about projects in India supported by the Ministry of External Affairs, and their network with international academics and artists.
My poster entry was an abstract Ganesha, which symbolizes the mix of modern and ancient and a bridge between Occidental and Oriental culture.
